Reference is made to the Company’s announcement on 28th June 2010 in relation to the acquisition of a piece of land measuring in area of approximately 70,221.3 square metres or 755,855.05 square feet which is held under HS(D) 194596, PT 239099, Mukim Hulu Kinta, Daerah Kinta, Negeri Perak (formerly three pieces of leasehold land held under PN196434 & Lot 305553, PN196435 & Lot 305554 and PN196436 & Lot 305555 respectively and all of which are situated in Mukim Hulu Kinta, Daerah Kinta, Negeri Perak with the total area measuring approximately 17.3 acres or 753,588 square feet) (“Acquisition of Land”), for the purpose of constructing a shopping centre thereon. The Board of Directors of AEON wishes to announce that, in light of the total area of the abovesaid land of 70,221.3 square metres or 755,855.05 square feet as stated in the new issue document of title, the purchase price of the abovementioned land has been revised to Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Seven Million Two Hundred Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty One and Sen Eighty (RM27,210,781.80) Only. And the Acquisition of Land has been completed on 15th April 2011, the date of the presentation of the Memorandum of Transfer and relevant documents at the relevant land office for the purpose of registration.
