ContentsFollowing our announcement on 18 January 2010 in respect of the Compulsory Acquisition, Am ARA REIT Managers Sdn Bhd (“Manager”), the manager of AMFIRST REIT, had submitted a claim for the compensation in accordance with the Land Acquisition Act, 1960.

The Government has served on the Manager a Notice of Award in Form H to award a compensation of RM3,204,596.00. The Manager has accepted the sum awarded but has filed an appeal against the sum awarded.

The Manager will make further announcement on the outcome of the appeal in due course.
