We refer to your facsimile dated 20 September 2000 on the above matter and are pleased to inform you that the Executive Director of the Company, Mr Tan Ah Heng denied the reported statement in the Web Page of The Edge that "We expect to see a couple of million ringgit in profit..." and "The Company.... is in negotiations to buy land in the Klang Valley."
Mr Tan Ah Heng further explained that he only told the reporters after the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 20 September 2000 that "We expect to make a slight profit." and "The Company is studying potential land for development".
