Further to the announcement on the Public Unitholding Spread made on 3 October 2006, the Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad ("ARMB" or "the Manager"), the management company of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ("Axis-REIT") is pleased to announce that Axis-REIT is now in compliance with the Public Unitholding Spread requirement.
The Manager became aware of the aforementioned compliance during its preparation of Axis-REIT's final income disribution which is targeted to be paid on 28 February 2007 to those unitholders whose names appeared in the Record of Depositors as at 14 February 2007.
The level of Axis-REIT's Public Unitholding Spread as at the date of this announcement is as follows:
a) % of public unitholdings: 53.64
b) No. of public unitholders holding not less than 100 units: 1,088
