On behalf of the Board of Directors of ARMB, the manager of Axis-REIT, Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad ("Aseambankers") is pleased to announce that the SC had, vide its letter dated 27 July 2007, approved the following:
(ii) The Proposed Exemption.
In addition, SC has no objection to the Proposed Appointments with a condition that there shall not be any adverse report arises from the evaluation process carried out on the aforesaid two candidates. An announcement in relation to the appointments of the Independent Non-Executive Directors will be made in due course. Aseambankers or ARMB is required to inform the SC on the effective date(s) of the appointment of the Independent Non-executive Directors of ARMB within two (2) weeks from the aforesaid date(s).
