Reference is made to the announcement dated 17 January 20101on the Renewal of the Intention to Deal during Closed Period.

Pursuant to Paragraph 14.08 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on Dealings during Closed Periods, Axis REIT Managers Berhad ("ARMB" or "Manager"), the management company of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ("Axis-REIT") wishes to announce that the Manager has received notifications from the following Directors, Alternate Director and Principal Officer of ARMB in relation to the renewal of their intention to deal in units of Axis-REIT during the closed period of Axis-REIT, the details are tabulated below:

*** Deemed interested in Alex Lee Lao's direct and indirect unitholdings in Axis-REIT and the direct unitholdings of Leon Lee Lao, both are his brothers.

**** Deemed interested through his shareholdings in Baiduri Kemas Sdn Bhd (in members' voluntary liquidation), Crystal Properties Sdn Bhd (in members' voluntary liquidation) and Prestigious Landmarks Sdn Bhd (in members' voluntary liquidation), all are unitholders of Axis-REIT as well as the unitholdings of his brothers, Lao, Yin Yong Lee and Leon Lee Lao.


(B) New Intention to Deal during Closed Period

In addition to the above, the Manager also wishes to announce that it has also received the notifications on the intention to deal in units of Axis-REIT during the closed period of Axis-REIT, from new Principal Officers, Mr Sinnasamy Raman and Stephanie Ping Wei Yi. Both of them currently do not hold any units in Axis-REIT, directly and indirectly.
