ContentsCompletion of the Acquisition by Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (“Axis-REIT" or the “Fund”) of a single storey detached warehouse annexed with a double storey office/showroom with an approximate lettable area of 118,017 sq.ft erected on land held under a 99 years leasehold title HSD 159847, PT 11, Jalan 219, Section 20A, Bandar Petaling Jaya, Daerah Petaling, Negeri Selangor measuring approximately 151,361 sq.ft ("the Property”) expiring on 4 May 2066, from Bizlot (M) Sdn Bhd (No.714469-T) for a total lump sum cash consideration of RM32.0 Million (“Proposed Acquisition of the Property”).
Pursuant to the announcement made on 19 September 2008 on the Proposed Acquisition of the Property, Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the management company of Axis-REIT, is pleased to announce that after fulfilling all the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Sale and Purchase Agreement dated 19 September 2008 executed between Bizlot (M) Sdn Bhd and OSK Trustees Berhad, the said Acquisition of the Property was completed on 9 December 2008.
