Reference is made to the announcements dated 25 April 2016, 19 May 2016 and 8 June 2016 in relation to the IDRP applicable to the 2016 First Interim Income Distribution, that allows unitholders of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ("Axis-REIT") to reinvest their income distribution in new units in Axis-REIT. The Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the management company of Axis-REIT, is pleased to announce that 5,380,523 new units ("New Units") have been issued and allotted on 16 June 2016 pursuant to the IDRP which was applied to the 2016 First Interim Income Distribution of Axis-REIT. The New Units are listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, 17 June 2016. With listing of the New Units, the enlarged fund size of Axis-REIT is 1,105,173,591 units. This announcement is dated 17 June 2016. |
