| Contents | We refer to the announcement 24 February 2009 in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the manager of Axis-REIT, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad) is pleased to announce that the Securities Commission had, vide its letter dated 21 August 2009, approved an extension of time for the issuance up to 120,000,000 new units of Axis-REIT and the listing for the new units of Axis-REIT on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. However, Axis REIT has to issue up to 51,180,200 new units (representing up to 20% of the units in the market) by 31 December 2009. The remaining units have to be issued by 31 December 2010 (which is up to 20% of the units in issue on 31 December 2009, if the issuance of the unit is pursuant to the general mandate). This announcement is dated 21 August 2009. |
