The Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the management company of Axis-REIT, wishes to announce that RHB Trustees Berhad, the trustee for Axis-REIT, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement, for and on behalf of Axis-REIT, for the proposed acquisition of a single-storey warehouse-cum-office building together with ancillary buildings (“Property”) presently built upon a portion of leasehold land, with an unexpired 35 years 5 months sub-lease term, identified as Plot D37c, Jalan DPB 3, Distripark B, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas, 81560 Gelang Patah, Johor, forming part of the leasehold land held under master titles HSD 303868 for Lot PTD No. 2423 and HSD 303949 for Lot PTD No. 2426, both Mukim of Tanjung Kupang, Daerah Johor Bahru, Negeri Johor from Rancak Beta Sdn. Bhd. for a total lump sum cash consideration of RM65.0 million (“Proposed Acquisition of Property”).
