(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the circular to unitholders of Axis-REIT dated 18 November 2019 in relation to the Placement to EPF and KWAP (“Circular”)) We refer to the announcements dated 29 October 2019, 31 October 2019, 1 November 2019, 4 November 2019, 14 November 2019 and 15 November 2019 in relation to the Placement and announcements dated 5 November 2019, 13 November 2019, 15 November 2019, 3 December 2019, 9 December 2019 and 11 December 2019 in relation to the Placement to EPF and KWAP. On behalf of the Board of the Manager, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Placement to EPF and KWAP has been completed with the listing of 37,115,000 new Units on the Main Market of Bursa Securities today. With the listing of the said new Units, the enlarged number of Units in circulation is 1,435,250,288 Units. As disclosed in Sections 1 and 3 of the Circular, with the successful placement of the aforesaid Units pursuant to the Placement to EPF and KWAP, the Manager does not intend to issue the remaining Units allowed under the Placement. Therefore, the Placement is deemed completed today. Based on the foregoing, the aggregate number of new Units placed out pursuant to the Placement and Placement to EPF and KWAP is 197,965,000 new Units, representing 16% of the total issued Units of 1,237,285,288 Units as at 29 October 2019, being a date prior to the implementation of the Placement and Placement to EPF and KWAP.
