We refer to the Notice of Election dated 15 August 2012. We were informed that many Unitholders had only received the Notice of Election at the end of August 2012 despite their Notice of Election having been posted on 15 August 2012 and therefore could not submit the Notice of Election within the stipulated time. We believe that the delay could have been a result of the recent public holidays on the 21 August 2012 and 22 August 2012. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad has decided to extend the period for acceptance of the IDRP for seven (7) days from 29 August 2012 to 5 September 2012. Save for the above, all the terms and conditions remain unchanged as per the Notice of Election dated 15 August 2012. This announcement is dated 3 September 2012. | |
