Reference is made to the announcements dated 20 April 2022, 19 May 2022 and 9 June 2022 in relation to the IDRP applicable to the 2022 First Interim Income Distribution, that allows unitholders of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ("Axis-REIT") to reinvest their income distribution in new units in Axis-REIT.
The Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the management company of Axis-REIT, is pleased to announce that 6,529,923 new units ("New Units") have been issued and allotted on 15 June 2022 pursuant to the IDRP which was applied to the 2022 First Interim Income Distribution of Axis-REIT. The New Units are listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 16 June 2022.
With listing of the New Units, the enlarged fund size of Axis-REIT is 1,641,054,038 units.
