Reference is made to the announcement relating to the proposed development of BRDC 2 dated 20 January 2022.
The Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the Manager of Axis-REIT, wishes to announce that the proposed development of BRDC 2, involving a 620,096 sq. ft. warehouse facility, located at Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja Selatan, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan, has been completed upon obtaining the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) on 1 August 2023.
The handover of the completed BRDC 2 to SPX Xpress (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Shopee Express Malaysia Sdn Bhd) (“SPX Xpress”) is ahead of the targeted handover date i.e. 31 August 2023.
SPX Xpress will lease the entire BRDC 2 for 15 years in accordance with the Lease Agreement dated 20 January 2022 and the lease shall commence on 1 August 2023.
