We refer to the Exchange's letter dated 11 July 2003 (Reference No.: NM030711-33775) and our announcement to the Exchange dated 11 July 2003 in respect of the above. The information required under queries nos. 6 & 7 of the Exchange's letter is as follows:-
6. The operational and financial impact on the Group, if any, arising from the Winding-Up Petition.
By reason of the fact that Affin Bank Berhad had agreed to withdraw their Winding-Up Petition by their letter dated 12 July 2003, which was announced by the Company on the previous day (11 July 2003), the Winding-Up Petition is not expected to have any operational and financial impact on the Group.
7. The expected losses, if any, arising from the Winding-Up Petition.
By reason of the fact that Affin Bank Berhad had agreed to withdraw their Winding-Up Petition by their letter dated 12 July 2003, which was announced by the Company on the previous day (11 July 2003), the Winding-Up Petition is not expected to have any impact on the losses or earnings of the Group.
