We refer to your query letter dated 9 July 2003 in relation to the above Article appeared on Bloomberg on Wednesday, 9 July 2003.
You had highlighted the following sentence which appeared in the Article:
"Commerce Asset-Holding Bhd., Malaysia's No. 2 lender, won approval from the country's central bank to begin talks to buy the banking and finance businesses of AMMB Holdings Bhd...."

We refer to the above article appearing on Bloomberg, on Wednesday, 9 July
2003, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which stated the following:-
" Commerce Asset-Holding Bhd., Malaysia's No.2 lender, won approval from the
country's central bank to begin talks to buy the banking and finance businesses
of AMMB Holdings Bhd...."
