We refer to your fax dated 2 February 2000 and wish to advise that in so far as we are aware:
· There is no material development in Paracorp's business and affairs not previously disclosed;
· There is no impending change of major shareholders; and
· There are no other reasons to account for the unusual market action.
We will inform the Exchange if we become aware of any event/situation falling under Section 335 of the Main Board Listing Requirements of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange that requires disclosing and which is likely to have an effect on the trading of our Company's securities.
