Pursuant to the KLSE query dated 14 February 2000 and our reply dated 15 February 2000 on the Article entitled : " Asia Internet takeover a boost for Dai-Ichi", which appearing in The Star, Business Section, page 2, Monday, 14 February 2000. The Board of Director would like to inform that the Board of Director and the substantial shareholders cannot confirm on the statements highlighted in the query as the Board of Directors and the substantial shareholders are not aware of Asia Internet Holding's (AIH) detailed information , save for the following :-


1) That certain shareholders, including the substantial shareholders have, on 31 January 2000 entered into a Conditional share Sale Agreement with AIH as per company's announcement on 31 January 2000.

2) AIH is an investment holding company which is focusing on Internet and Internet related businesses.

3) The major shareholders and directors of AIH is Tan Sri Dato Dr Ahmad Mustaffa Babjee and Mr Andrew Su Meng Kit.

4) 15 February 2000 is the official launching of AIH by YB Datuk Amar Leo Moggie, Minister of Energy, Communications and Multimedia.

Query Letter Contents :

We refer to the above article appearing in The Star, Business Section, page 2,
Monday, 14 February 2000, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined
sentences, which are reproduced as follows:-

"They believe the spectacular performance in Dai-Ichi stocks are mostly based
on market talk that the new shareholders of AIH may own an undisclosed stake in
Nasdaq-listed MyWeb Inc."
"Two major AIH shareholders - Rahadian Mahmud Khalil and Andrew Su Meng Kit -
are also believed to be the seed investors in TechnoChannel, which undertook a
reverse takeover of Nasdaq-listed Asia Media (since renamed MyWeb Inc.com) last
February."
"Rahadian and Su are also believed to be planning to inject their MyWeb shares
into AIH which would increase its paid-up capital to RM45mil from the present
RM1mil."
"The strong potential of Dai-Ichi's involvement in Internet business could
mean a long-term hold for the shares..."
