Further to the announcement dated 22 February 2001 in relation to the above, Alliance Merchant Bank Berhad, on behalf of the Board of Directors of AHB, wishes to clarify that AHB is not required to appoint a Monitoring Accountant pursuant to Section 3.1(c) of the Practice Note No. 4/2001 as AHB’s latest group audited accounts has not been qualified and there has been no delay in the issuance of its audited accounts.
