Pursuant to the Exchange's letter dated 5 January, 2000 on the unusual market action in the Company's shares recently, we wish to confirm as follows :-
i) there is no material development in the Company's business and affairs which has not been previously disclosed;
ii) there is no impending change in the major shareholders' interests;
iii) the Company has no knowledge of any reason to account for the unusual market action; and
iv) the Company is not aware of any transactions or events which may have contributed to the unusual market
activities in the Company's shares.
