With reference to you query via your letter dated 18 February 2000, we wish to advise as follows:-

(1) that whatever material development there is in the Company’s business and affairs have already been disclosed to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) in accordance with the relevant requirements and guidelines and presently there is no material development which requires disclosure;

(2) we are not aware of any impending change in major shareholders;

(3) we do not have any knowledge of any reason to account for the unusual market action.

(4) we declare that none of the situations/events listed in the third paragraph of your letter dated 18 February 2000 contributed to the unusual market activities in our company’s shares during the period in question.
