With reference to the Company's announcement on 25 October 2000 and a letter dated 31 October 2000 (ref no.MJ-001031-55964) from the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, we wish to advise as follows:-
(1) There is no liability to be assumed arising from the Proposed Acquisition.
(2) The original cost of investment in Nice Frontier to the vendor, Gugusan Induk Sdn Bhd is Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Five Million and Eight Hundred Thousand (RM25,800,000) only and the date of investment is 24 June 1996.
(3) Copy of the Conditional Agreement is available for inspection at the Registered Office of IOI Properties Berhad at 7-10 Jalan Kenari 5, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Off Jalan Puchong, 47100 Puchong, Selangor Darul Ehsan, during normal business hours from Monday to Friday (except for public holidays).
