EAH HOLDINGS BERHAD (" EAH" or the "Company")

We refer to the article appearing in The Edge Markets on Monday, 29 June 2015, in particular to the sentence reproduced below :-

“….expects that its bottom line will improve by at least 25% to RM7 million in FY15.”

In relation thereto, we wish to clarify that the statement above was in actuality meant to outline the Company’s management’s profit  target or goal set to be attained for FY2015. 

Based on the recent acquisition of Cekap Air Sdn Bhd, in particular with the contribution of their profit guarantee of RM56.0 million for FYE 2015 and FYE 2016, of which we have 20% equity and can book up to RM5.6 million for FYE 2015, and the remaining RM1.4 million based on EAH’s current order book for its existing business as well as for projects tendered, the Company’s management has set a profit target of RM7.0 million to be attained for the FYE 2015 and is confident of achieving such a goal. The statement was meant to convey both the financial target and the accompanying confidence of attaining it.

Out of the profit target of RM7 million, up to RM 5.6 million or approximately 80% comprise the contribution from the associate company, which has been reviewed by the external auditors in conjunction with the acquisition exercise which was approved by the shareholders of EAH on 18 June 2015. The balance of RM1.4 million would come from EAH's internal management target.
