EAH - Notice of Rights Entitlement (Ratio)

Renounceable rights issue of up to 2,524,354,400 new ordinary shares in EA Holdings Berhad ("EAH") ("EAH Share(s)") ("Rights Share(s)") on the basis of four (4) Rights Shares for every three (3) existing EAH Shares held, together with up to 1,262,177,200 free detachable warrants in EAH ("Warrant(s) D") on the basis of two (2) free Warrants D for every four (4) Rights Shares subscribed for, as at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 2 October 2017 at an issue price of RM0.02 per Rights Share ("Rights Issue with Warrants").

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted ““Ex-Rights Issue” as from: 28 Sep 2017
2)    The last date of lodgment : 2 Oct 2017
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
       a)    Selling Broker to deduct<4/7>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
       b)    Buying Broker to deduct <10%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
       c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <4/7>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks:- The Abridged Prospectus together with the Notice of Provisional Allotment ("NPA") and the Rights Subscription Form ("RSF"), will only be despatched to the shareholders of EAH whose names appear on the Record of Depositors as at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 2 October 2017 ("Entitled Shareholders") at their address in Malaysia or who have provided the share registrar with an address in Malaysia in writing by 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 2 October 2017. The Abridged Prospectus together with the NPA and RSF will not be despatched to the foreign Entitled Shareholders and/ or their renouncee(s) (if applicable) who have not provided an address in Malaysia. Foreign Entitled Shareholders who are without an address in Malaysia and wish to provide a Malaysian address, should inform their respective stockbrokers to effect the change of address by 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 2 October 2017. The aforementioned documents will be despatched to the Entitled Shareholders not later than two (2) market days from the entitlement date. Warrant B holders and/ or Warrant C holders of EAH who wish to be entitled to the Rights Issue with Warrants should exercise their rights to subscribe for new EAH Shares by lodging their duly completed exercise forms together with the relevant subscription monies with the share registrar on or before 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 19 September 2017. This is to enable the new EAH Shares to be issued arising from such exercise to be allotted to the respective Warrant B holders and/ or Warrants C holders such that their names will appear on the Record of Depositors of EAH Shares as at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 2 October 2017.
