We refer to your letter dated 10 May 2000 ref :KM-000510-36559 in relation to the above subject matter.
The Company had on 4 October 1999 announced to the Exchange that it had acquired effective equity interests of 60% in EMCEE Corporation Sdn Bhd which owns approximately 1000 acres of leasehold land near Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan.
The Company wishes to inform that it has submitted a proposal to the Negeri Sembilan State Government to utilize the land to construct a dam and water treatment facilities. A study is being carried out by the State Government and a decision is pending.
An appropriate announcement will be made to the Exchange when a decision has been reached.

We refer to the above article appearing in The Sun, Sun Biz, page 1, Wednesday,
10 May 2000, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which is reproduced as follows :
"The company is seeking the government's approval to convert its 400ha
leasehold land near Jelebu into a reservoir with a water treatment plant...."
