EASTLAND wishes to announce that following the application made to the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") for the striking off of its dormant wholly-owned sub-subsidiary, Rimaflex Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 844800-P) ("RNTSB") pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965 ("Act"), RNTSB has today, 15 January 2018, received the final notice dated 28 December 2017 pursuant to Section 308(4) of the Act from CCM ("Notice"). The Notice confirmed that the name of RNTSB has been struck-off from the Register and the Notice shall be published in the Gazette. Henceforth, RNTSB shall be dissolved on the publication of the Notice in the Gazette. The striking-off of RNTSB has no material effect on the earnings or net assets of EASTLAND Group for the financial year ended 31 December 2017. This announcement is dated 15 January 2018. |
