Reference is made to the announcements dated 20 October 2011, 25 October 2011 and 25 November 2011 in relation to the above.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had, on 25 October 2011, granted Fututech Berhad (“Fututech” or “Company”) an extension of time up to 19 January 2012 to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02 (1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“MMLR”) (“Public Shareholding Spread Requirement”).

Based on the Company’s Records of Depositors as at 12 January 2012, the public shareholding spread of Fututech was 21.01%, which is below the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement.

As such, an application for further extension of time up to 2 February 2012 to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement has been made by the Company to Bursa Securities on 18 January 2012.

Fututech has on numerous occasions attempted to approach prospective individuals to participate in Fututech’s equity. On 18 January 2012, the Company received notifications from the following directors/substantial shareholder with regard to their disposal of Fututech Shares as part of the efforts to rectify the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement:-
