We refer to the above matter which was received by fax today at 11.45 am.
We furnish herewith to the Exchange the following informations as required :
(1) There shall be no additional impact on the Group.
(2) The writ of summons was received on Friday, July 7, 2000 at 4.45 pm.
(3) The Directors were of the opinion that this matter has to be defended. The Company has been represented by Messrs. Lawrence & Co. Nevertheless, the Company is still negotiating with MBf Finance Berhad and that a letter was addressed to MBf Finance Berhad on July 21, 2000 for a settlement without going through the court procedures.
(4) Appearance has been filed but hearing date has not been fixed by the High Court.
