Further to your fax of 30 January 2001 on the above matter, we set out below the additional information as requested: -

1. As at 30 June 2000, which is the date of the latest audited accounts, the net tangible assets of Thai Sakura is 146,880,534 Thai Baht and Thai Sakura incurred a net loss of 3,119,466 Thai Baht for the year ended on that date.

2. The original cost of investment to The Sakura Bank, Limited in Thai Sakura is 280,317,060 Thai Baht whilst the original date of investment was 31 October 2000.

3. The Proposed Acquisition is not subject to any approval from the shareholders of The Sakura Bank, Limited nor from the shareholders of RHB Capital Berhad.

audited accounts.
(2) The original cost of investment to The Sakura Bank in Thai Sakura and the
date of
such investment.
(3) Whether the Proposed Acquisition is subject to the shareholders' approval.
