Pursuant to paragraph 2.0 of PN 4/2001, AMCB wish to clarify to the Exchange that the criteria under which the Company is classified as an affected listed issuer are as follows:

(a) deficit in the adjusted shareholders'equity of the Company on a consolidated basis as at 31 December 1998; and

(b) the auditors have expressed adverse or disclaimer opinion in respect of the Company's going concern, in its latest audited accounts ie 31 December 1998.
