With reference to the above article, the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that there has been no further development to matters pertaining to the Company’s alleged interest of venturing into food sector subsequent to our earlier announcements dated 10 October 2000 and 28 November 2000 (copies of which are attached herewith).

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Edge, page 12, on Monday,
25 June 2001, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined
sentences, which are reproduced as follows:-

business."
"...the possibility of injecting MAS Catering, Dewina as well as another food
catering concern, Sajibumi Sdn Bhd, into Prime."
