We refer to the letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities) dated 08 September 2015 querying the Company on an unusual market activity in relation to the recent rise in price of the Company’s shares.

The Board of Directors of the Company (“Board”) wishes to confirm that to the best of their knowledge and after making due enquiry with the major shareholders seeking their views on the matter, we are not aware of any of the following that may have contributed to the unusual market activity:

1. Any corporate development relating to the Group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the unusual market activity including those in the stage of negotiation/discussion;

2. any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the Group that may account for the unusual market activity;

3. any other possible explanation to account for the unusual market activity; and

Nevertheless, the Board wishes to  inform that there was a newspaper article entitled “Fortunes of Key ASIC hinge on two chips” released on The Star Newspapers Business News Section on 5 September 2015.The Company had previously disclosed the expected launch of the two (2) new products mentioned in the Article, in the Company’s quarterly financial results for the periods ended 31 December 2014, 31 March 2015 and 30 June 2015 which were released to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 13 February 2015, 27 May 2015 and 20 August 2015 respectively. A copy of the above Article is attached herewith for your reference. 

 The Company will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Securities of material information, if any, in compliance with Paragraph 9.03 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
