We refer to the announcements made on 5 April 2018, 21 May 2018 and 10 February 2020 in relation to the above matter.
RKR had received interim payment of VND15.0 billion (equivalent to RM2.7 million) on 13 February 2020. This amount had been recognised as Other Income in the financial year ended 30 June 2020.
The Company wishes to announce that RKR had agreed to a full and final settlement totalling VND57.6 billion (equivalent to approximately RM10.4 million) from the insurer for the above incident. RKR received the final insurance compensation of VND42.6 billion (equivalent to approximately RM7.7 million) on 3 November 2020 and will recognise the compensation as Other Income in the second quarter ending 31 December 2020.
