This announcement is dated 28 February 2013. Reference is made to the announcement dated 5 February 2013 in relation to the offer made by LTHB (“Offer”) vide its offer letter dated 5 February 2013 to LTIGL to acquire all the subsidiaries of LTIGL for an aggregate consideration of SGD46,770,000.00 (RM117,018,540.00) (“Proposed Acquisitions”) (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise stated, the capitalised expressions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement. On behalf of the board of directors of LTHB (“Board”), AmInvestment Bank Berhad (“AmInvestment Bank”) wishes to inform that the Board had, on even date, received a request from the board of directors of LITGL for an extension of time for the acceptance of the Offer from Thursday, 28 February 2013 (5.00 p.m.) to Friday, 15 March 2013 (5.00 p.m.) (“Extension”). After having deliberated on the matter, the Board has agreed to the Extension on even date. As stated in the Announcement, the Proposed Acquisitions is subject to the execution of the share sale agreement comprising the terms and conditions to be agreed upon by LTHB and LTIGL. | |
