After due and diligent enquiry with the Company's major shareholders, Hikkaya Jaya Sdn Bhd ("HJSB") and Mezzanine Capital (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd ("MCM") [both wholly owned subsidiaries of Arab-Malaysian Corporation Berhad ("AMCORP")], HJSB and MCM acknowledge that AMCORP Group does not discount the possibilities of divesting its investment in the Company in a structured manner in line with its continuing efforts to streamline and consolidate all businesses within the Group.
However, AMCORP Group has neither set any time line or any target price for the intended disposal nor is it engaged in any active negotiations with any interested party on its stake in the Company.

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Star, StarBiz, News 5, on
Saturday, 29 March 2003, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
