As announced previously on 8 February 2018 pursuant to the decision of the Court of Appeal dated 29 January 2018, the High Court action against Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014 has been remitted back for hearing and the arbitration proceedings between PT Anglo Slavic Utama and the Company has been temporarily stayed pending the disposal of the High Court proceedings only.

Both Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun have filed their application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal dated 29 January 2018 (“leave application”). The said application for leave has been fixed for case management on 25 April 2018. PT Anglo Slavic Utama has filed an application to intervene in both Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun’s leave application. No case management date is fixed yet for the said application to intervene.

The Company also wishes to announce that the legal proceeding against Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014 is fixed for trial on 18 to 28 February 2019 and 1 March 2019.
