Reference is made to Protasco Berhad's ("Company"/"Protasco") announcements on 14 March 2016 and 26 February 2018 on the concession for maintenance of Federal Roads in Peninsular Malaysia by Roadcare (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Roadcare”), a subsidiary of the Company.

The Company is pleased to announce that Roadcare has today entered into a Concession Agreement with the Government of Malaysia (“The Government”) for the extension of concession for maintenance of Peninsular Federal Roads within the Central – Eastern Regions,  comprising the states of Selangor, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan for a further period of 8 years, commencing from 17 February 2018 until 17 February 2026 ("Concession").  

The Concession is expected to contribute positively towards the Protasco Group’s results for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.
