Description	PROTASCO BERHAD (“PB” or “Company”) PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 10% OF THE ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF PB (“PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT”)
Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 4 January 2013, 16 January 2013 and 25 January 2013 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, all abbreviations used are the same as those previously defined in the Announcements. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company (“Board”), AmInvestment Bank Berhad (“AmInvestment Bank”), wishes to announce that the Board has fixed the issue price for the placement of 20,833,210 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in PB (“PB Shares”), to be issued pursuant to the first tranche of the Proposed Private Placement at an issue price of RM1.10 per Placement Share (“Issue Price”). For information purposes, the said issue price represents a premium of approximately 12.2% over the five (5)-day volume weighted average market price of the PB Shares up to 31 January 2013 of RM0.98. This announcement is dated 4 February 2013.
