We refer to the Exchange's letter to Suria dated 8 September 2000 and our announcement on behalf of Suria dated 30 August 2000 in relation to the aforementioned Proposed Disposal.

Suria acquired the 178,492,232 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in SBB on 5 October 1996 for RM238 million.

The proforma effect on the NTA of Suria Group based on the latest audited accounts as at 31 December 1999 is presented in Table 1 below.

We refer to your announcement dated 30 August 2000 in respect of the aforesaid
matter.
In this connection, kindly furnish the Exchange with the following additional
information for
public release:
(1) The original cost of investment to your Company in SBB and the date of such
investment.
(2) Financial effects of NTA at Group's level based on the latest audited
accounts.
