The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, as Manager for SUNREIT wishes to announce that upon recommendation by the Manager, RHB Trustees Berhad, as Trustee for SUNREIT has on 4 September 2015, approved the appointment of Messrs BDO as Auditors of SUNREIT for the financial year ending 30 June 2016 in place of the existing Auditors, Messrs Ernst & Young in accordance with the provisions of the Deed dated 20 May 2010 (as varied by Supplemental Deed dated 10 June 2010) and the Guidelines on Real Estate Investment Trusts issued by Securities Commission Malaysia.

For the purpose of maintaining good corporate governance practice, the Board is of the opinion that SUNREIT’s Auditors should be considered for rotation after an appropriate period of time as such rotation will bring new perspectives of independence and integrity to SUNREIT.

Messrs BDO has also expressed their consent to act as Auditors of SUNREIT to replace the existing Auditors, Messrs Ernst & Young.
