We refer to our announcements dated 24 February 2012 and 15 March 2012 in respect of the Proposal. The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the manager of SUNREIT is pleased to announce that SunReit Capital Berhad (formerly known as Noble Pioneer Sdn Bhd) (“Issuer”) has on 26 April 2012, issued an aggregate of RM850 million in nominal value of Commercial Papers (“CPs”) under the CP Programme, which has been accorded a short term rating of P1(s) by RAM Rating Services Berhad. The relevant transaction documents for the CP Programme have been executed by the authorised signatories on 3 April 2012. The details of the CPs which were issued on 26 April 2012 with an aggregate nominal value of RM850 million are as follows:- Issuance of the CPs in nominal value Tenure Maturity date Mode of issue RM200 million Three (3) months 25 July 2012 Competitive tender RM300 million One (1) month 25 May 2012 Private placement RM350 million Three (3) months 25 July 2012 Private placement The Issuer will advance the proceeds raised from the issuance of the CPs to SUNREIT where the trustee of SUNREIT shall utilise such proceeds to repay the existing borrowings granted by Public Bank Berhad.
