Reference is made to the announcement released on 11 January 2017 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition. The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the manager of SunREIT wishes to announce that Champion Edge Sdn Bhd (“CESB” or “Vendor”) and SunREIT, represented by its trustee, RHB Trustees Berhad (“Trustee”) has via a Letter Agreement dated 10 April 2017, mutually agreed to extend the Conditional Period to 25 May 2017 or such other period as may be mutually agreed in writing between the Parties. Accordingly, the Proposed Acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of calendar year 2017. This Announcement is dated 10 April 2017. |
