On behalf of the Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, being the management company of Sunway REIT, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") has approved the request for suspension in the trading of Sunway REIT’s units with effect from 2.30 p.m. on Monday, 12 October 2020. The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(b) of Practice Note 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pending the release of a material announcement pursuant to the private placement exercise announced on 29 June 2020.
