The Board of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the Manager for SUNREIT, has on 5 November 2020 approved the change of financial year end ("FYE") of SUNREIT from 30 June to 31 December to synchronise the FYE of SUNREIT with its Manager and Sponsor, with approval granted from the Trustee and consent from the Securities Commission Malaysia. The current financial period of SUNREIT shall be for an 18-month period from 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2021. The subsequent FYE shall end on 31 December.
