We refer to the query letter by the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange ("the Exchange") dated 6 March 2000, and on behalf of the Board of Directors of Ulbon Berhad, we would like to advise the Exchange that:-

i) there is no material development in the Company's business and affairs which has not been previously declared;

ii) there is no impending change in the major shareholders;

iii) we are not aware of any reasons for the unusual market action.
