We wish to clarify and confirm that the RM850 million sales are in respect of value of property (i.e. Sale and Purchase Agreement value) expected to be sold for the financial year ending 31 March 2001 and not sales revenue or turnover to be recognised for the same financial year as reported in the aforesaid newspaper.

Property-Based Larut Consolidated Bhd expects RM850mil in sales revenue for its
current financial year ending March 31, 2001, given the strong demand for
medium-cost residential units, especially in the Klang Valley."
