Ingress Corporation Berhad ("Ingress") denied that it had ever disclosed on the turnover and profit before tax for 31st January 2001 for PER division as stated in the article entitled "Ingress benefits from diversify" appeared in the News Straits Times, Business Section Business on March 9,2001.
Ingress did disclose that based on the profit after tax and after minority interest of RM19.8 million as disclosed in the Prospectus dated January 22, 2001, the contribution mix for Ingress two (2) divisions would be about 35% (or RM69.8 million) and about 25% (or RM7.56 million) of the profit before tax would be expected from PER division. Ingress would like to highlight that it has yet to announce its 4th quarter result.
