We refer to our announcement made on 14 October 2014. In relation to the High Court Order in the High Court Suit No. 22-43-2001 (I) (Luking Anak Uding & 3 Others), the Federal Court sitting in Kuching, Sarawak, have granted a Consent Order to TH Plantations Berhad's subsidiary, TH PELITA Sadong Sdn Bhd, which ordered the Land & Survey Department and the Government of Sarawak to issue final Lease of State Land for the two properties affected by the High Court Order, namely as follows: 1. Lot 12, Block 3, Melikin Land District; and 2. Lot 2, Block 3, Melikin Land District. With the Consent Order, TH PELITA Sadong Sdn Bhd and TH PELITA Gedong Sdn Bhd are now free to develop the two properties for the balance period of the term of the leases. Therefore, all matters pertaining to the said High Court Suit have been fully settled. In relation to the High Court Suit No. 22-249-98-III (I) (TR Nyutan Anak Jami & 2 Others), the Federal Court sitting in Kuching, Sarawak, have allowed TH Plantations Berhad's subsidiaries, TH PELITA Sadong Sdn Bhd and TH PELITA Gedong Sdn Bhd Leave to Appeal to the Federal Court on a point of law arising from the decision of the Court of Appeal given in September 2013.
