Reference is made to: 1. The information disclosed in the Circular To Shareholders of TH Plantations Berhad (“THP” or”the Company”) dated 20 October 2012 in relation to the plantation land owned by TH PELITA Gedong Sdn. Bhd. (“TH PELITA Gedong”), a subsidiary of TH Ladang (Sabah & Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. (“THLSS”), currently being implicated under legal proceedings; and 2. THP’s announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad made on 27 November 2012 in respect of the completion of the Company’s acquisition of the entire equity interest of THLSS, which resulted in THP being the penultimate holding company of TH PELITA Gedong. The Company wishes to update Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad that the Court of Appeal has fixed the date of hearing on 4 February 2013. This announcement is dated 29 January 2013. | |
