We refer to your letter dated 28 January 2004 in relation to the aforementioned article appearing in The Star, on 28 January 2004, and in particular the highlighted sentence on IRIS Corporation Berhad’s (“ICB” or “Company”) options to raise funds. Please be informed that, in the ordinary course of its business, ICB constantly explores options to raise funds, by way of debt or equity, to meet the funding requirements of its business operations. However, at this juncture, no firm plans for fund raising have crystallised. In the event of any development of the abovementioned, an appropriate announcement will be made in due course, in accordance with the Listing Requirements of the Malaysia Securities Exchange Berhad.

Wednesday, 28 January 2004, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which is reproduced as follows:-
